La Val d'Orcia è una campagna piena di vecchie tradizioni, culture e costumi e qui, in mezzo alla natura, circondata da uliveti e pascoli, si trova il podere Rofanellone. Attira a trascorrervi il tempo libero con le sue mura in pietra, il grande camino e il forno per cuocere il pane. Così come ogni vecchia casa anche questa ha una sua anima, la vita qui si fa di gran lunga più quieta. Per una scala piccola in pietra si raggiunge l'atrio con il forno. Un posto areato, all'ombra da cui godersi la campagna sircostante attraverso gli archi a tutto tondo che lo delimitano come in un quadro. E ora arriviamo alla casa vera e propria. Il soggiorno è molto confortevole con il suo camino aperto e davanti divani imbottiti per rilassarsi. Alla parete opposta è stata predisposta in maniera molto armoniosa una cucina che ne occupa l'intera lunghezza. In mezzo c'è la zona pronza. Le camere da letto sono due matrimoniali, una doppia ed una singola. Il bagno provvisto di doccia è molto bello. Tutte le stanze hanno i pavimenti in cotto e i soffitti a travi in legno, un perfetto ambiente toscano che sprizza fascino da ogni punto di vista. Da ogni finestra si può godere di una vista magnifica sulla Val d'Orcio fino a Pienza e Castiglion d'Orcia. Davanti la casa c'è un barbecue in muratura e accanto un grande tavolo in legno con panche per feste e cene. Sul prato non mancano sdraio per sognare. Tutto nell'insieme dà l'idea di pace e luogo ideale per riprendersi e riacquistare le forze.

 Podere Rofanellone is located in Val D'Orcia, a valley with lots of very old traditions, cultures and folklore, with an unspoiled countryside full of olive groves and green pastures. The house, with its stone walls, a big chimney and an old oven where you can also bake bread, looks very fascinating. Like any other old house, this one too has got its own "soul" but life there is much quieter than everywhere else. A small stone staircase leads you to a "hall" where there is the oven. This is an airy place, framed by stone arches all around that make it look like a painting and from which you can enjoy a splendid view on the countryside. The house has got a very comfortable living room with an open fireplace with sofas in front of it where you can read the papers and relax. The opposite wall is covered with cooking facilities. The dining area is in the middle of the room. There are also two double bedrooms, one twin bedroom and a single one. The bathroom - which has got a shower too - is very beautiful. All the rooms have got brick floors and wooden beam ceilings. All this creates a perfect, fascinating Tuscan atmosphere. From every windows you can enjoy a magnificent view on the Val D'Orcia as far as Pienza and Castiglion d'Orcia. There is a stone B-B-Q on the lawn in front of the house and a large wooden table with benches next to it which is ideal for dinner parties. There are also deck chairs to relax, sleep and dream… The whole place will make you forget your worries, relax and feel healthy.

 Das Orcia-Tal ist eine Landschaft voll alter Traditionen, Kulturen und Gepflogenheiten und hier, mitten in der Natur, umgeben von Olivenbäumen und Schafweiden, liegt das Podere Rofanellone. Es verlockt zur Muße, mit seinem rauen Mauerwerk aus Natursteinen, dem großen Kamin und dem Ofen zum Brotbacken. So wie jedes alte Haus hat auch dieses eine eigene Seele, das Leben wird hier ein paar Takte ruhiger. Über eine kleine Steintreppe kommt man zuerst in den Eingangsbereich mit dem Backofen. Ein luftiges, schattiges Plätzchen, von dem man die Landschaft durch schöne Rundbögen wie ein Gemälde bewundern kann. Nun kommen wir zum Haus selbst. Der Wohnraum ist sehr gemütlich mit seinem offenen Kamin davor eine bequeme Polstergruppe zum Plaudern. An der gegenüberliegenden Wand wurde über die ganze Breite eine Küchenzeile harmonisch eingefügt. Dazwischen liegt der schöne Essplatz. Dann kommen die Schlafzimmer, zwei mit Ehebetten eines mit zwei getrennt stehenden Betten und eines mit Einzelbett und dann gibt es noch ein schönes Duschbad. Alle Räume sind mit Ziegelfußböden ausgestattet und haben wunderschöne Holzbalkendecken, ein perfektes toskanisches Ambiente, das eine ganz eigene Faszination ausstrahlt. Aus jedem Fenster hat man eine atemberaubende Aussicht über das Orcia-Tal bis hin nach Pienza und Castiglion d'Orcia. Vor dem Haus steht ein gemauerter Grill und daneben lädt ein großer Holztisch mit Bänken zum Tafeln und Feiern ein und auf der Wiese Sonnenliegen zum Träumen. Der Gesamteindruck ist still und friedvoll - ein idealer Ort um neue Kraft zu Schöpfen.
